TEHRAN The capital-based team, Pirouzi, ruined Esteghlal of Rasht 4-1 in the last Azadegan League-bound match of the year on the Azadi pitch.

Leis Nobari opened the scoring for Pirouzi in the 5th minute while his teammate Behrouz Rahbarifard made it 3-0 in the 33rd and 43rd minutes and Amir-Hossein Aslanian scored the fourth in the 76th minute.

Shahin Bani-Ahmadi scored the consolation goal ten minutes from the time.

Pirouzi is now top-placed, having 43 points from 20 games, while its archrival Esteghlal follows it with 41 points out of 18 games.
